Austbrokers Countrywide – an integrated financial services provider
With our beginnings in 1952 as a general insurance broker, we have
evolved over the years into an integrated financial services provider.
The company’s growth has been enhanced by a series of mergers and
acquisitions, with Countrywide Insurance Broking, Tolstrup Insurance
Broking, Keith Young Insurance Brokers, Perree Partners, Bailhache Walker
Brown, APESMA Insurance Services, ARA Insurance Services and
Member Advantage Insurance Services all coming under the Austbrokers
Countrywide umbrella.
In 1996, The Austbroker Group purchased 49.9%
equity in the business, providing the company with the security and
support of a large organisation, as we continued to grow our financial
services business. Austbroker is an ASX listed company - access their

In July 2008, we changed our trading name
from Countrywide Tolstrup Financial Services Group to Austbrokers
Countrywide to reflect our involvement in a group delivering national
strength linked with individual commitment.

now employs more than 50 staff and has 10,000 clients accessing a range
of services, including:
